Regular Programs at Knock Knock
Knock Knock Children’s Museum celebrates Black History month with activities in the Art Garden and Maker Shop inspired by Black artists, creators, inventors and thinkers. Stop by Story Tree and read one of our library’s award winning books that explore Black history, traditions, culture and feature black characters and communities. Join us during story time and listen as guest readers bring these books to life. At Knock Knock Children’s Museum we believe Black History is American History. February like every other month of the year is a time to celebrate the achievements African American have made and continue to make to our nation, our communities and our lives.
Join us every Thursday at 4pm for Studio Time, a creative program for children ages 3 and older designed and led by our Learning Innovation Educators featuring in-depth activities that explore the art in STEAM.
Special story time and activities just for members in Knock Knock Square every Friday at 9:30 AM. New themes each week! Learn more about a Knock Knock Membership here.
Put on your creative hat and join Knock Knock’s Arty Party. Every Friday Knock Knock will host an afternoon art activity in the Art Garden. Join us to create your next masterpiece every Friday at 3:30 PM.
Imagine, explore, and learn as you discover new books or old favorites during Knock Knock’s Storytime Fridays at 2 PM and Saturdays and Sundays at 3 PM. The Reading Fairy joins us for Storytime on Fridays with local authors, volunteers, and museum staff reading on Saturdays and Sundays. Storytime takes place at the Storytree or our in Big Backyard – weather permitting. Click here to volunteer to be a reader.
Use our STEM and Art instructors to help your troop get those elusive STEAM badges!
