Math is child’s play!
Challenge yourself with mind-bending puzzles. Construct a bridge without supports or create a city skyline using blocks. Geaux Figure— where mathematics, problem-solving, and fun collide! Parts of this special Learning Zone were designed and developed by the Mathematikum Museum, the world’s first museum dedicated to math, in Giessen Germany, in collaboration with LSU’s Cain Center for STEM Literacy.
- Build a pyramid of balls or construct a bridge that doesn’t need fasteners or supports
- Explore mass and momentum or create a design using magnetic, interlocking, spinning gears.
- Solve mind-bending 3-dimensional puzzles and complete tricky tessellation patterns without leaving any gaps.
