Visit Knock Knock for hands-on activity about birds and their habitats!

Stop by Knock Knock on Saturday, April 12th (time TBD) to learn about shapes, sizes, and special features of birds’ beaks! Beaks tell us about the types of food birds eat and where they live. Children will use a variety of tools to pick up different types of food, mimicking different bird beaks. We will also be making bird feeders in our Big Backard!

Included with regular museum admission.

About Love Our Lakes

Love Our Lakes at Knock Knock Children’s Museum is an engaging, hands-on educational program designed to help young learners discover the importance of local wetlands and watersheds through interactive play, outdoor exploration, and creative activities.  Children learn about life science and wildlife habitats, ways to prevent litter from reaching our waterways, and explore the biology behind the plants and animals that call wetlands home. Fun experiments, water play, and real-world conservation projects will empower kids to become stewards of the environment as we Love Our Lakes right across the street from the museum. Stay tuned for more Love Our Lakes activities and events!
