Meet the Future Engineers of Southern University!
Get ready to put science into motion! Students from Southern University’s Engineering Department are stopping by Knock Knock to lead a hands-on Balloon Rockets activity. Using simple, everyday household items, guests can experiment with balloon-powered rockets while exploring the physics concepts behind how things move.
As they build, test, and launch their balloon rockets, children can meet the Southern University students leading the activity, learn about what it’s like to study engineering, and ask questions about their education and future careers. It’s a chance to explore the world of engineering and discover how science shows up in everyday life!
Event included with regular admission.
