Meet Wildlife Detective Michael Birt and his Animal Ambassador!
Michael Birt is an author and the founder of ResearchWild, Inc. He will visit Knock Knock on Saturday, November 29th, with his animal ambassador, a ball python named Butters. Michael will share facts about Butters and field questions from our guests.
Michael has invested time in STEM education. He will read his first book, Michael the Wildlife Detective, which is part of a curriculum designed to teach children to respect and understand our wild neighbors. He is dedicated to his life’s work of solving the mysteries that surround wild animals while protecting them and their habitats. He is eager to share his message with many young learners. Michael holds a B.S. degree in wildlife and fisheries science and an M.S. degree in animal behavior and physiology. He participated in research and internships in Australia and South Africa.
Michael’s book will be available for purchase and can be signed by the author.
