Under the Governor’s Phase 2 Re-opening Guidelines, Knock Knock would not be able to utilize our 18 Learning Zones to effectively allow children to enjoy interactive, imaginative play. Therefore, Knock Knock will remain closed for the time being.

Knock Knock Following Guidelines, Still Closed

Although Governor John Bel Edwards’ Phase 2 Re-opening Guidelines does allow children’s museums to re-open, it only does so if all tactile and interactive exhibits remain closed. After studying the guidelines, working with numerous local, state, and national officials along with leaders of other state museums, our leadership, and Board of Directors have decided to remain closed for the time being.

We fully expect Knock Knock will be able to re-open soon. But, again, that decision will be based on the guidelines set out in the coming days and weeks by Governor Edwards and his team.
