Scholarship Information

Full camp scholarships are available and made possible by funding provided by the generosity of Capital Area United Way (CAUW). The CAUW is committed to aiding working residents that are struggling to make ends meet, have little or no savings and are one emergency away from falling into poverty. This population is referred to as ALICE, Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed.

The ALICE population encompasses every race, age, gender and ethnicity, and work in a variety of professions. Scholarship funds are restricted to campers who reside in the following parishes: East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Ascension, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, Iberville, East Feliciana, West Feliciana, St. James, and St. Helena.

If your combined household income falls between $24,500 – $65,000 you may be eligible. You may refer to the chart listed below to estimate your eligibility. After completing the scholarship application, you will receive an email or call concerning eligibility.  If you are eligible, you will receive a discount code. You will then register your child for the October Mini Camp(s) on our website and enter the code at checkout to bring the cost to $0.
