Time for a Little Something Extra
LAGNIAPPE is something you only get in Louisiana. It means, “a little something extra.” And that’s exactly what you’ll get with our newest mini-camp experience set for February 13 – March 27, 2021, from 9am – 12pm. We are giving you and your family more than LITTLE extra. We have nine unique, three-hour workshops designed for children ages 5 and up. Your little camper can choose from making special Valentine’s Day gifts to creating cardboard animals with their very own habitats to experimenting with the magic of science, and so much more.
Each session is limited to 15 campers, so register today so your little one doesn’t miss out. Drop off is from 8:50 am – 9:00 a.m. and pick up is from 11:50 am – 12:00 p.m. Face masks are required. Each mini-camper should dress for play, bring their own water bottle, and snack.
You can select just one camp, or join us for all sessions! (Separate registration is required for each date)
We also offer special scholarships for qualifying campers. These scholarships are made possible through the support of Capital Area United Way. Simply submit an application by clicking the button below prior to registering to see if your camper is eligible.
Knock Knock’s Lagniappe Mini-Camps are the perfect way to play, create, and explore this Spring.

Parent/Guardian Information and Permission Form
In order to participate in a camp at Knock Knock Children’s Museum, a parent or guardian is required to provide contact information for themselves and anyone else who is allowed to pick-up their child from Knock Knock when the camp session is over for the day. We also require some basic medical information on each of our campers along with being given express permission to act as necessary in case of an emergency. Please click the button below, print the form, fill it out completely, and bring it on the first day of camp.
If camps do not meet minimum enrollment, Knock Knock has the right to cancel and refund participants at 100%. Individual refunds are allowed 2 weeks prior to camp start date, less the $50 non-refundable fee. Emergency cancellations with full refund will be considered on a case by case basis.
