Thanksgiving Camps

Amaze and Glaze: Ceramic Gift Making– FULL

Date: November 21, 2022 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Instructor: Alexandra

Throw me something Mister! Throw, shape, and experiment with different clay techniques with master ceramicist, Alexandra Pearson, in Knock Knock’s Clay Studio. Pick up your fired projects in mid-December and give them as gifts for loved ones.


Grown-up & Me: Fall

Date: November 21, 2022 9:00 am – 11:00 pm

Suggested Ages: 0-4 plus one adult

This special camp is for our littlest visitors and their grown-up.  Join Ms. Molly and Ms. Hillary for a fall-themed circle time to explore our Big Back Yard.


The Art & Science of Balance

We all need to learn balance in our lives, right? Why not start early! Join Ms. Hillary exploring the concept of balance through movement, art, and science.


Cooking with Science

Date: November 23, 2022 9:00 am – 12:00 am

Bread and butter can seem pretty simple, until you jump in to learn how to make them yourself! What makes dough rise or cream solidify and what makes them taste so good? Find out with Ms. Hillary. Campers will come away with a basic bread loaf and a small container of butter to add to any family dinner.


Winter Camps

Grown-up & Me: Winter

Date: December 19, 2022 9:00 am – 11:00 pm

Suggested Ages: 0-4 plus one adult

This is a special camp just for our littlest visitors and their grown up.  Ms. Molly and Ms. Hillary will host a winter themed circle time facilitate extra special exploration activities in our Big Back Yard.


Sculpture Garden

Date: December 20, 2022 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Suggested Ages: 5-9

Explore your artistic talent in sculture using a variety of materials including clay, metal, wood, tiles, and rocks. The finished artwork will be displayed in our Big Backyard Sculpture Garden with a plaque stating the artist’s name, title, and date. Wood, metal, rocks, and clay will be some of the materials available.


Holiday Gift Making

Date: December 21, 2022 9:00 am – 12:00 am

Suggested Ages: 5-9

Use your wildest imagination and materials you find in the Maker Shop to design and make creative and personal holiday gifts for the holidays.  Ms. Alexandra loves to tinker and help kids bring their ideas to life.  Each camper will complete at least one gift and wrap it up for a special someone.


Star Art with a Mission to the Moon Escape Game

Date: December 22, 2022 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Instructors: Ms. Hillary

Suggested Ages: 5-10

Find inspiration in the stars, as we look at the cosmos through the James Webb telescope.  Create your own artwork based on the stars and explore what it would be like to travel in space through our Mission to the Moon Escape Game.


Bio-Tinkering

Date: December 27-30, 2022 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Instructors: Ms. Hillary & Mr. Chandler

Suggested Ages: 5-9

Our world is an interconnected web of biodiversity. Join Ms. Hillary as we explore the connections between living things through studying gene structure, painting with DNA, and tinkering with growing, living organism like plants and critters from the world outside.   


Parent/Guardian Information and Permission Form

In order to participate in a camp at Knock Knock Children’s Museum, a parent or guardian is required to provide contact information for themselves and anyone else who is allowed to pick-up their child from Knock Knock when the camp session is over for the day. We also require some basic medical information on each of our campers along with being given express permission to act as necessary in case of an emergency. Please click the button below, print the form, fill it out completely, and bring it on the first day of camp.

If camps do not meet minimum enrollment, Knock Knock has the right to cancel and refund participants at 100%.  Individual refunds are allowed 2 weeks prior to camp start date, less the $50 non-refundable fee. Emergency cancellations with a full refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
