Earn & Learn: Financial Literacy Weekend
Knock Knock Children’s Museum and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants are teaming up to teach children about the importance of earning, saving, giving, and spending wisely on Saturday and Sunday, April 29 – 30, 2023 during the “Earn and Learn—Financial Literacy Weekend.” And to make it extra special for everyone in the Capital Region, the Society of Louisiana CPAs is generously sponsoring a Free Sunday at the Museum, on Sunday, April 30. Both days will feature activities designed to build financial literacy and money management skills. Children can “earn” credits by participating in fun and educational activities and then “spend” their hard-earned credit in the “Earn and Learn Shop.”
Our Earn and Learn Weekend, teaches kids valuable money management skills through active play. Reaching young people with concepts such as earning, spending, saving, and giving, provides lessons that can help them throughout their lives, and these are valuable concepts for adults too.
