Join LSU Swimming Champion Jacob Pishko at Knock Knock Children’s Museum this Saturday to learn about the sport of swimming\, water safety\, and his Olympic trials journey! Jacob is a senior student athlete at LSU. He is from Raleigh\, North Carolina and has been swimming for 17 years. His specialties are butterfly and distance free style. He is the LSU pool record holder in the 200fly\, a 3x SEC finalist\, and 7.5k open water National Champion. He competed at the U.S Olympic Trials twice in the 200fly\, and is working towards the 2028 U.S Olympic team. \n\n\n\nEvent included with regular admission.  \n\n\n\n\nBUY TICKETS

DESCRIPTION:Bookmobile\n\n\nMeet LSU Pre-Vet Student Anya Stuart and learn about animal anatomy and vet care with the Bayou Buddies Pet Therapy dogs. Included with regular admission. \n\n\n\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPractice your veterinary skills on the Bayou Buddies Therapy Dogs\n\n\n\nAnya is a senior at LSU studying Animal Science/Pre-Vet. She works at Capital Heights Veterinary Clinic. She will be partnering with Bayou Buddies Pet Therapy to demonstrate the importance of vet care to children! Guests will learn about simple animal anatomy and will have the opportunity to listen to the heartbeat of the therapy dogs using a stethoscope.

An award-winning food writer with a lifelong passion for pediatric nutrition\, April blends her clinical expertise with real-life parenting experience. She’s full of practical advice for busy families\, from answering common nutrition questions to sharing tips and tricks for packing school lunches and making easy\, healthy dinners. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdrian Brumfield Sr. has over 25 years of expertise as a community health educator and personal trainer with a commitment to wellness and preventive care. As a certified weight and nutrition coach\, he collaborates with OLOL Children’s Health’s Dr. Holland\, Dr. Queen\, and Nurse April in the Wellness Wednesdays initiative that promotes patient health and wellness across the community.
