On Saturday\, December 6\, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.\, the museum will transform into a Wonderful Winterland filled with festive fun\, hands-on play\, and holiday cheer. \n\n\n\nGuests can glide across our Sneaux Figure Skating Rink (in their fuzzy socks!)\, take aim in the Faux Snowball Toss\, and get swept up in the Confetti Blizzard. Children can also write letters to the North Pole\, make seasonal crafts\, and snap photos with Santa himself! \n\n\n\nTo top off the morning\, enjoy a cozy cup of hot chocolate\, breakfast treats\, and donuts\, plus fresh-made omelets courtesy of the Louisiana Egg Commission. He will visit Knock Knock on Saturday\, November 29th\, with his animal ambassador\, a ball python named Butters. Michael will share facts about Butters and field questions from our guests. \n\n\n\nMichael has invested time in STEM education. He will read his first book\, Michael the Wildlife Detective\, which is part of a curriculum designed to teach children to respect and understand our wild neighbors. He is dedicated to his life’s work of solving the mysteries that surround wild animals while protecting them and their habitats. He is eager to share his message with many young learners. Michael holds a B.S. degree in wildlife and fisheries science and an M.S. degree in animal behavior and physiology. Join LSU Swimming Champion Jacob Pishko at Knock Knock Children’s Museum this Saturday to learn about the sport of swimming\, water safety\, and his Olympic trials journey! Jacob is a senior student athlete at LSU. He is from Raleigh\, North Carolina and has been swimming for 17 years. His specialties are butterfly and distance free style. He is the LSU pool record holder in the 200fly\, a 3x SEC finalist\, and 7.5k open water National Champion. He competed at the U.S Olympic Trials twice in the 200fly\, and is working towards the 2028 U.S Olympic team. \n\n\n\nEvent included with regular admission.  \n\n\n\n\nBUY TICKETS
